| The Kenneth More Theatre Shakespeare season ends with our Wanstead Players production of Much Ado About Nothing. A romantic comedy of two sets of lovers, Hero and Claudio who, with the help of gloriously pompous Dogberry, finally get to the altar in spite of the dastardly Don John. The second couple, Beatrice and Benedick, are drawn together in adversity and come to realise they enjoy being in love more than being at war. Kenneth Branagh transferred this play brilliantly to the screen taking the part of Benedick for himself with Emma Thompson as Beatrice.
